Here’s my story: In 2014, I faced the unimaginable challenge of being homeless with my six children, living in the Days Inn in Schenectady, NY. After a year of relentless searching and countless rejections from landlords, I finally found our forever home in June 2015, marking the happiest day of my life. Determined to help others facing similar struggles, That is when I founded Raindrops Closet for Homeless Families on November 2, 2015 to start helping those who were left behind. The past decade, we have been dedicated to supporting homeless families in hotel shelters across Albany, Schenectady, and Troy, providing hot meals, clothing, hygiene items, and essential household goods as they transition into their new homes.
